Transform Boys Scale 3 Peaks for Greenfingers Charity

We've done it! The BALI Pillocks on the Hillocks have joined that exclusive club of 3-Peakers and scaled Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in an amazing 23 hours and 48 minutes in aid of the wonderful Greenfingers Charity.

It's all the more amazing when you consider the appalling weather on Thursday night when, having already climbed Ben Nevis, driving rain and 50 mph gusts of wind failed to stop us scaling Scafell Pike in some of the most atrocious conditions our professional Team Leaders have ever experienced in their years of taking teams through the 3 Peaks Challenge.... read more

Transform Team Enters Three Peaks Challenge

Greenfingers logo When Transform created a garden at the Chase Children’s Hospice, some years ago, we were in awe of the work carried out there. So when our trade organisation, BALI (British Association of Landscape Industries), suggested we might like to enter the Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for charity and challenge ourselves at the same time, Chase Hospice was our first thought.

The Three Peaks Challenge requires us to scale the three peaks of Ben Nevis (4408ft), Scafell Pike (3209ft) and Snowdon (3560ft) in 24 hours, that’s 10,000 feet of climbing and 25 miles walking in just 24 hours!

The BALI team has a target to raise at least £10,000 for Greenfingers and Chase Hospice. We will be training over the next few months in preparation for the event in July.
