Transform Landscapes wins two national BALI awards
Transform was a double winner in the British Association of Landscape Industries Annual Awards for Domestic Garden Construction (cost up to £20,000) and for Domestic Garden Maintenance. A group of management, staff and one of the winning clients attended the BALI Annual Awards Dinner on Friday, 5th December.
The winning garden for construction is located in Haslemere. The courtyard was transformed with predominantly hard landscaping to meet the client’s brief for an outside dining area. Clever use of brick planters complements the sandstone paving, while thoughtful planting gives a year-round effect. The garden was designed by our in-house designer, Nick Hart and built by Transform employees Glynn Bawden, Richard Ashcroft and Graham Tulloch under the supervision of Craig Tate-Grimes.
The winning garden for maintenance, which is located in West Sussex, was designed by garden designer, Chris Moss and maintained by Sam Day and under the supervision of Charles Blumlein. The judges were impressed by the meticulous attention to detail of the team in a very complex garden with numerous areas, each with a different theme.
“We have been building and maintaining gardens in Haslemere and surrounding areas for many years and so are thrilled to have won two more awards from our trade association, BALI; they recognise the hard work and expertise of our dedicated team”, said Simon Gray, Managing Director at Transform Landscape Design and Construction Limited. “The British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) is the UK’s largest trade association for professional landscapers, designers and allied services and membership is reassuringly difficult to achieve.”
